Protective Hockey Player Equipment

Our protective gear range covers junior, senior, intermediate, youth sizes from CCM, Bauer, Sherwood and Warrior, in stock at Sierra Hockey Supply in Reno, Nevada.

Pad sizing is driven by height, weight, level of play and whether you wear the pad over or under the sock. Read our fit and sizing guide, or book a complimentary in-store 3D scan fitting with the pro shop team and we will check the size against the gear you are considering.

Hockey equipment built for every level of the game

Gear that keeps up with your game

Hockey is played in short, violent bursts, and the equipment you wear has to survive every one of them. Everything in this collection is stocked because it holds up: skates that keep their stiffness deep into a season, sticks that stay consistent through hundreds of shots, and protective gear that still fits properly in the third period. We carry the current lines from the brands players actually ask for, in the full range of sizes, so the right fit is in stock rather than on backorder.

Who this gear is for

Whether you're buying a first pair of skates for a five-year-old, replacing a cracked stick before a beer-league playoff run, or outfitting a junior player who has outgrown last year's kit, the range here covers it. Youth and junior sizing runs alongside senior and intermediate, and every category spans entry-level through pro-level performance so you can match the gear to how often you play rather than to a price tag.

Why shop with Sierra Hockey

We're a hockey shop staffed by people who play. Every order ships from our own inventory, sizing questions get answered by someone who has fitted the gear in person, and returns run a full 30 days on unused gear with tags on, so a fit that felt right in the living room can be reconsidered after a skate. If you're unsure between two sizes, check our sizing guide or get in touch before you order.
