Size guide
The measurement that matters is paddle height — the wide section, measured from the heel of the stick to where the paddle meets the shaft. It sets your depth in the ready stance.
| Height | Starting paddle height |
|---|---|
| under 4'6" | 21" |
| 4'6" – 5'0" | 22" |
| 5'0" – 5'4" | 23" |
| 5'4" – 5'9" | 24" |
| 5'9" – 6'1" | 25" |
| 6'1" and up | 26" – 27" |
Checking the fit
- Put your skates on — pads and blocker too, if you want to be accurate.
- Drop into your natural stance.
- The whole blade should be flat on the ice, one to two feet in front of your feet.
- At the same time, the inside edge of your blocker hand should sit at the outside edge of your leg pad.
